  1. Is the marriage course for Florida residents only? What if my fiancé and I are from Texas and would like marry in Florida? Can I take the course and receive the marriage license discount?

  2. My fiancé is a Marine & comes home for a week at Christmas, we plan to get married the 27th in Clay County, Orange Park Fl. Will this course waive the three day waiting period? We’d like to get married the same day because he has to leave two days after we plan to marry.

  3. so I trying to figured out the monetary benefit of taking this…its 93.50 without, $60 with plus the 20.00 making it $80..so why sit through a 4 hour course to save $13?

    • Great question Jeff. Taking a course that is virtually free that decreases your chance of divorce by teaching each of you about yourselves and each other and about communication and resolving conflict is invaluable. Plus, you avoid the three day wait and can get married the same day that you apply for your marriage. Sitting through a 4 hour course that has so many benefits and is virtually free sounds like a great deal to me. Best, Dr. D

  4. Both the bride and groom are in the service and stationed in different states. They are planning on flying to Florida to have a small beach wedding. My question is, are they required to complete the online course together or can they complete the course separately?

  5. Do I have to wait for a copy of completion certificate to be mailed to get my marriage license in Taylor County Florida

  6. my fiance is from new york and he is coming to florida the 10th of august, we want to get married that same day if we complete the course could we get married that day? he is from new york does he need to do the course? to wave the 3 days

    • If one or either of you does the course you can get married on the same day that you apply we will just make sure that both of your names are on the certificate we would prefer that both of you did the course together though as it is very helpful and very informative congratulations

    • We will send you a certificate with a registered number that cannot be done automatically. You will receive a certificate within one business day once you complete the course. We will send that to you by email.

  7. My fiance and I would like to take the course today and by the end of the day get married is that something that will be possible. I am an over-the-road truck driver and I have to leave back on the road tomorrow

  8. Brevard County does not require an original signature on the certificate of completion. If you purchase our course online, complete the course, and submit the questionnaire at the end, a certificate of completion will be automatically sent to you.

  9. Hello. My Fiance is in the military and is stationed in Hawaii. He was born here in Florida. Do we both need to take the course or can I do it alone to receive the benefits and avoid the three days.

  10. Hello my fiance’ and I are planning to get married the same day as we apply for the license. Do Duval County need an official copy of completion or will they accept an electronic copy?

  11. Does Pinellas county accept the electronic/printed certificate? Planning to do this tonight and go and tie the knot tomorrow morning! 🙂
